Background

Devious was one of the most interesting characters to ever hit the CPMA scene... originally a skilled QuakeWorld player. Devious managed to piss off about 100% of the community both on IRC and on servers... his disregard for for any polite nature at all caused him to get banned many times. Infact in 2003 Devious impostered milez an EnterTheGame administrator and was k-lined shortly after never to return, the ban is so strong in which cyzer another ETG administrator cannot remove it without authorization from milez himself. In 2005 Devious confirmed that he was a racist by joining the Kurwa Kids Klan.

Playing Style

He was best known for his ridiculous low pings to NYC/WDC/CHI Speakeasy servers and strong QuakeWorld style LG and amazing rail, Devious managed to defeat alot of very good players... infact doing so with a very mean attitude. These mind-games were probably an advantage as it disturbed his opponents. This also went against him if he was not winning and some players complained of Devious calling time-outs in games to lower the opponents quality of play during this intermission.

It did not stop him from winning alot of games against respectable players. Regardless of attitude what counted was his game, and Devious had a very strong game indeed.
