Background

I started playing CPMa offline in 2001, after a friend of mine copied his q3 on my computer. i didn't have internet until 2002, so i had no idea how it was supposed to be played, all i remember now is that i played FFA on dm6 alot :). when i got internet and my own computer in 2002 i started online with OSP CA (pm1), cause it was dm6 only :P. some time later i discovered CPMa CA, which i then switched to. i joined my first online clan in late 2002, called Schnuffel-Net (i was a member of this clan until 2005). i only played active until 2003/4, because i lost interest in CA after playing it for 1 year. while i was playing CA, i stumbled upon Cel, we talked and played together, and he asked me if i wanted to join a CPM clan. i always wanted to play CPM, but everytime i tried, i failed horribly. even tho i had no CPM skill whatsoever, i said yes and joined Jizz, whom i still play for to this day. i played my first TDM game right after i joined, against nobles. not the best experience you can have for a first game, but i knew what my goal should be from there on. i was hooked on the "real" CPM and left CA behind. i also discovered #cpmpickup, THE pickup channel for CPM, where i started to built up some skills, trying to understand the armor/item/timing stuff. it went slow, but eventually i learned it all (my clanmates from Jizz helped alot in that process). i became an admin of the cpmpickup channel a bit later, because i was very active, not always an asshole (:P) and the head admin at the time was Cel, so he knew he could trust me. i was an admin for 3 years. i'm still an active player in the channel, i also play in the cpm ctf tourney from xG with the clan #celerity.cpm. i haven't found a game yet that comes close to CPM for me and i don't think i ever will. <3 CPMa <3

Trickjumping: didn't know where to put this, but i also play defrag, because it has a run mode and online records. i use CPMa for freestyles, or short trickruns on maps. thx to poub we have one of the best trickmaps ever, b0_betaX. thx alot to poub for making such a challenging map.

Playing Style

all i can say here is: i use the mousewheel to switch weapons, i guess that's kinda special (or retarded) :). i can't really say what my playing style is. all i know is,in duels i'm mostly not aggressive enough when i should be, and too aggressive when i shouldn't. i have good armor timing and good movement, my aiming is pretty average, my positioning lacks creativity, but i can manage.

my favorite position in CTF is defender, cause i always had the aim for it, even when i just started playing cpmpickup games. coming from CA, that's no shocker :p

my TDM skill was pretty good when Jizz still played alot of TDM, i never was a good quadrunner tho. i usually liked to run around between 2 points in a map, keeping an overview.
