cpm4a strategy guide

From PromodeWiki

Now this map is damn old, but it never get's boring, especially since swelt & lunaran refreshed it. What we have here is one powerup map with 1 RA and 2YA, with RA being the biggest room with 3 great weapons - SG, LG and RL around. What you can figure out is that RA area is priority here, and you're right. Since it's that big, you should have at least 3 players around, swooping any RA that spawns (because it can be easily stolen, look at cpm4a tricks section). Remember that pretty close to RA there are 9x 25hp, so you can recover pretty easily there).

If you control RA without big problems, it'd be wise to send 4th player to the other part of map, SSG/YA (near Quad) is good enough for roaming player, besides he can secure Quad room earlier than rest of the team gets there. Remember that if you're focusing only on RA, you leave both yellow armors and few weapons to your opponent, which can be bad idea if you don't have good RA timing (with good/lucky timing you can have 3 players wear RA between Quads), so consider grabbing some YAs as well.

Quad is easily swoopable, so make sure you grab it as it spawns - it's better than weak player from your team takes it and dies than any of the enemies. Just deny them Quad. If you have Quad guy pretty stacked up, don't hestitate but move whole group towards RA, where 3 players stay and Quad goes roam in other places.

When your team can't handle constant attacks on RA (because everyone knows this is the most important room here and they will keep attacking), try moving in pairs to both yellows in order to prepare for upcoming Quad. If you have 4 at Q before enemy even thinks about going there, it gives you advantage because most probably enemy will be coming one by one, making it 4v1 situations. This way you have high chance of getting Quad, which obviously has to help at RA and you guys should stay there and make sure everyone recovers after fight at Q.
